Enemy attacks + mining blocking = double blow to energy situation in Ukraine
Enemy attacks + mining blocking = double blow to energy situation in Ukraine user/common.seoImage
Russia is trying to leave Ukraine without heat and light by attacking energy infrastructure. Today, one of the thermal generation facilities in the Kyiv region suffered from another enemy attack. At the end of August, there was a massive attack on electricity and gas transportation infrastructure facilities in six regions.

Back then, President Volodymyr Zelensky warned: the enemy is purposefully attacking energy infrastructure - nuclear, thermal and gas production - to complicate the heating season.

In this situation, every cubic meter of Ukrainian gas is of great importance. At the same time, the country's gas production enterprises, which can help Ukrainians not to freeze in winter, are forced to stand idle due to sanction restrictions on the final beneficiaries - EU citizens.

This is a paradox: gas remains in the ground, people and businesses are preparing for a difficult winter, and Ukrainian production is blocked.

We once again appeal to the authorities to make adjustments to paragraphs 73-78 of Appendix 1 of the NSDC Decision of 08.10.2024, which will unblock the work of enterprises, leaving sanctions on the final beneficiaries. Enwell Energy can provide 71.1 million cubic meters of gas for the heating season for Ukrainians.

But we must act now!

We are ready to launch gas production within 48 hours and give the country up to 20 million cubic meters of gas/month - Ivan Gerasimovich, CEO Smart-Holding
Another difficult night of attack on energy. The enemy is purposefully destroying Ukraine's gas infrastructure and the country is forced to buy gas abroad to pass the heating season. The difference in value between the foreign and domestic markets hits the economy. And Ukrainian gas remains in the bowels when Ukraine and Ukrainians desperately need it on the eve of winter.
