Over 10 months of the current year the Companies of Smart Energy Group contributed 29 mln UAH of royalty payment to the local budget user/common.seoImage

Over 10 months of the current year, local budgets of Poltava and Kharkiv regions were contributed to with 12.3 mln UAH and 16.7 mln UAH respectively. These amounts were allocated by the companies of Smart Energy Group as royalty payment.

In particular, regional budget of Poltava region where the Representative Office of Regal Petroleum Corporation Limited operates, received 4.9 mln UAH. Also, 4.9 mln UAH went to Lokhvytska and Chornukhyn district budgets. The budgets of village councils received 2.5 mln UAH.

Ukrgazvydobutok and Prom-Energo Product that operate in Kharkiv region paid to the regional and district budgets 6.7 mln UAH each. Another 3.3 mln UAH were transferred to the village councils and Merefyansk town council.

As of January–September 2025, the Group’s companies paid 543 million UAH in taxes, which is 41% less than in the same period last year (915 million UAH). This reduction occurred, among other reasons, due to increased government pressure and the blocking of gas production assets of the publicly listed British company Enwell Energy.
