The association is among the TOP-3 shipbuilding yards in Ukraine.
Kherson SMG Shipyard has the capacity to build ships with a displacement of up to 30,000 tons, including:
- tankers
- dry cargo ships
- container ships
- icebreakers
- arctic supply ships
- refrigerators
- tugboats
- offshore vessels
Mykolaiv SMG Shipyard is a multidisciplinary enterprise capable of mass-producing ships with a deadweight of up to 120,000 tons.

- Shipbuilding - full cycle of design and construction of vessels for various purposes
- Modernization and repair - renovation, re-equipment, maintenance
- Metal construction - production of hull and specialized structures for the marine and industrial sectors
Due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the activities of Smart Maritime Group were suspended. The security situation and the occupation of part of the territories where production facilities are located made it impossible to continue operational work in the usual mode.
The company maintains its infrastructure and human resources, and plans to resume operations after the situation in the region stabilizes.
