On July 29, SMART-MARITIME GROUP (SMG) lost control over Kherson Shipyard. Currently, the military of russian federation do not allow the administration and employees to enter the territory. Director General of SMG appealed to all law enforcement agencies and the Security Service of Ukraine with a statement about the seizure of the enterprise.
From the first day of the occupation of the city, the work of Kherson Shipyard was completely stopped. To preserve the personnel, all workers are paid financial assistance. Recently, only the employees of the structural subdivisions, which provided the physical security of the enterprise and the work of emergency services, were on the territory of the shipyard. After the seizure of the shipyard, not a single employee remained on the territory of the enterprise.
The management of SMART-MARITIME GROUP informed the relevant authorities that a Turkish ship with a crew is currently located in the water area of the shipyard, the fate of which is currently unknown.
