Today, on behalf of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), clergymen in all regions of Ukraine provided medical staff with the tests (DialPlexQ™ 2019-nCoV), which Vadym Novynskyi's Foundation purchased in South Korea.

In addition to the tests, UOC bishops handed over to hospitals additional personal protective equipment meant for medical staff in Mykolaiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv regions. Earlier, hospitals in these regions also received thousands of high-class biological protection suits and respirators from Vadym Novynskyi's Foundation.

Kherson region was one of the first regions to receive the testing systems. To date, 40 systems for 4,000 tests, 1,060 protective goggles and 550 reinforced medical masks have been delivered here.

'I want to once again thank those who help us. Those who join together regardless of their religion or political preferences. Today we must be united and must together fight this peril that has come to this earth... I want to thank the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Vadym Novynskyi's Foundation, as well as all those who provide assistance in the framework of the anti-crisis centre. And I would like to extend special thanks to healthcare professionals who are at the forefront of this fight. We are doing everything possible, and sometimes impossible, to provide you with personal protective equipment,' said Yuriy Gusev, the Head of Kherson Regional State Administration.

Shortly before, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy and the founder of the Foundation, Vadym Novynskyi, provided the doctors of Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital (Kyiv city) with the latest generation lung ventilator that can operate simultaneously for two patients, as well as 100 reusable protective suits and 100 protective goggles. Prior to that, His Beatitude and Vadym Novynskyi provided a lung ventilator and the same number of protective suits and glasses to medical personnel of regional children's hospital in Chernivtsi.

The Head of the Church blessed all representatives of the medical professions in Ukraine. In his turn, Vadym Novynskyi noted that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church supports the domestic healthcare system and healthcare professionals not only with a prayer, but also with real deeds. He is confident that today all Ukrainians need to follow the example of the Church, need to put away all political and other sorts of disagreements, and rather need to focus on fighting the global pandemic and its consequences.

The Ministry of Health and Coronavirus Epidemic Task Force under the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy organized the distribution of equipment and protective gear, purchased by Novynskyi's Foundation, between the regions.

The State Budget of Ukraine Received 41% Less Taxes from Smart Holding in the First 9 Months of 2025
As of January–September 2025, the Group’s companies paid 543 million UAH in taxes, which is 41% less than in the same period last year (915 million UAH). This reduction occurred, among other reasons, due to increased government pressure and the blocking of gas production assets of the publicly listed British company Enwell Energy.

Ukraine imports gas, while blocking its own fields
Ukraine has gas, but cannot produce it. Not because of the war. Not because of missiles. Due to the decisions of state bodies.

We need to distinguish sanctions against individuals and the work of enterprises operating in Ukraine, paying taxes and supporting energy independence
Today, the Ukrainian energy sector lives between two realities: On the one hand, there is an urgent need for its own gas, on the other hand, there are legal norms that actually stop those who can provide this resource.
