Step one: the SSU, as the initiator of sanctions, can appeal to the experts of the Interagency Working Group on the Implementation of the State Sanctions Policy (IWG) under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to analyze the economic consequences for the state of sanctions against EU citizens - the ultimate beneficiaries of Enwell Energy.
And there are consequences, and they are far from positive. Due to the downtime of Regal Petroleum Corporation Limited and Prom-Energo Product in 2025, Ukraine loses:
- UAH 1.2 billion of tax revenues;
- 96 million cubic meters of gas
- 9.3 thousand tons of oil
- UAH 3.2 billion of investments in subsoil jobs in Kharkiv and Potava regions
We are not talking about the lifting of personal sanctions - they will remain in full, but only specific clarifications are made that will allow the restoration of gas production for Ukraine.
Step three: the National Security and Defense Council can make an appropriate decision, which can be approved by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy by his decree.
We say: "can apply", "can contribute", "can accept", "can approve". Because in fact, everything depends on the political will, which cannot be based, but should be based on the interests of Ukrainians.
Will it be so and will the SBU take that first step? Another appeal from the British Enwell Energy has been on the desk of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk for a month.
If the interests of Ukrainians are taken into account, we will have + 71.1 million m³ of gas from Enwell Energy's assets for the heating season, + UAH 900 million to the state budget and savings of almost $49 million on gas imports.
The Security Service of Ukraine, the Office of the President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the National Security and Defense Council take into account the interests of Ukrainians!
Three simple steps from you - millions for the state and the people!
